Sons of Jesus Christ drive to Detroit Renaissance Center For SC2

Summer Conference 2 at Detroit Renaissance Center

Hosted By Vector Marketing / Cutco

Hello my beautiful people. Im back and to start off 2016 for me im going to write about my experiance with SC2 at the Detroit Renaissance Center. It was Awsome!!!!

First off im going to tell you how I even got involved in this whole SC2 event. In the beginning of June I was working for Uber in NJ. Now I have to say I really enjoyed driving people to their destination and getting paid for the work I did. I was making decent money for the part time hours I was putting in but then Uber went and dropped their prices to gain more customers. Now thats a good thing for the customers but on the flip side it was bad for the drivers. That ment that I was putting in the same amount of hours but getting paid less and that was not good for me at all. After a few days it just was not worth working for Uber anymore and I was getting worried about my finances. It got to the point where I could not take it anymore and I started to cry out to Jesus Christ. I said "God, you need to help me. Im working more hours and making less money and I dont like it. You have to do something so I can earn more income becasuse right now Uber is not cutting it. In Jesus name I ask for your help." Well guess what folks. God heard and answered my prayers because as soon as I got off the exit that leads to my home I saw this…..

I was a little skeptical at first but I sent a text to the number stating the hours I wanted to work. Then I received a text asking me to fill out an application, which I did and soon after I received another text from someone that was trying to set up an appointment with me so I can go to the first of 2 interviews. Arrangements were made and within a few days I had my first interview. The first interview was very brief, maybe 15 to 20 minutes. The asked me a couple of questions about myself and then invited me to a second interview which was like 2 days later. Now the second interview was like 45 minutes to an hour. This is where the interviewer who is now my mananger showed me what I would be doing. He pull's out a pair of scissors and a penny. What he did with those scissors and that penny was amazing. I had never seen that done before so course I was excited…. on the inside, on the outside I was trying to play it cool. Then he pulled out  2 knives. 1 was your average junk knive that people buy just to get the job done. The other was a high quality kitchen knife called Cutco. I had never heard of Cutco and this was the first time I had seen any of their products. The interviewer took out a piece of rope and then proceeded to cut the rope with the junk knife. The junk knife cut the rope after abot 20 to 30 strokes 30 to 45 seconds later. I said to myself ok not bad. Then he cut a piece of rope with the Cutco Knife. With 3 to 4 strokes 3 to 4 seconds later the rope was cut. After that I was sold and I was their for a Job interview. The interviewer said thats what I would be doing. I would be selling a high quality kitchen Cutlery called Cutco. The training was for 2 days and he would love to add me to the team and of course I said sign me up. Thats how I got involved with Vector Marketing / Cutco. Just so you know Vector Marketing is the company I work for and Cutco is the brand that I sell. I have been working part time with Vector Marketing since June 16, 2016 and I love selling Cutco.

Vector interview letter Now I went to the 2 day training where they taught me how to sell Cutco Knives  and on the 17th they sent me out into the field. Part of the reason why I decided to work with Vector Marketing was becasue I wanted to get better communication skills and what better way to aquire that skill then to go into peoples homes and communicate with people you know and some if not most, you really dont know. At first you start off easy by going to your own contacts but at the end you have to ask for referrals and its the referrals that you may not know. Not to brag but during my first day, I got 2 promotions and made more money in 2 hours then working a whole week with Uber. Thank you Jesus for the answered prayer.

When theres ups, theres always downs. So im about 3 weeks working with Vector Marketing and at a team meeting my manager Dylan Labadia starts talking about SC2 in Michigan at the Detroit Renaissance Center. Dylan tells the sales team that we should go, its a great event and you get alot of extra knowledge going to these events but the only way to go to SC2 is to be invited. In order to get invited we had to set up a certain amount of demos during our phone jam that night. A phone jam is when we make calls to set up demos. Well I set up the required amount of demos and I was invited to SC2. As soon as I got home I entered my information, payed the fee to cover the room and meals and I was all set up to go to SC2. Now the fee was very inexpensive compared to what you got out of the conference. In fact you received more then what you paid so going to SC2 was well worth it but back to before SC2. Now before I signed up for SC2 I was doing pretty good on selling Cutco. Out of the 10 demos I had 9 sales with 2 promotions. Things were going great but after I signed up for SC2 I went 0 for 5. Now things were not that great. Im  0 for 5 on sales and to top it off I was not getting any referrals. In the beginning I was all the way up but now I was falling all the way down and I didnt like it at all. I was making 0 dollars which was even worse then Uber. I really felt like Cutco wasn't for me and I was going to go back to Uber. I really started thinking about canceling SC2 and getting my money back. I wasn't going to quit Vector Marketing but I wasn't going to take it as serious either. I needed a part time steady income which at that point Vector wasn't providing. I had a few days left to get a full refund on SC2 however I also had 1 more demo scheduled 2 days before the final day to cancel. I said to myself If I don't make this sale then im going to cancel going to SC2 and get my money back. Little did I know, God had other plans for me. On my next demo I made a sale. Yippie im going to SC2 baby WOOO HOOO!!!!

So SC2 was confirmed with my last sale but to be honest I was alittle nervous about going to this conference. I was going to be around millionaires, what if they were satanic? (No offense millionaires) I didn't want to get sacrificed because I believed in Jesus christ, you know scarifice the Christian to boost your sales lol. I didn't know what God was having me walk into but God had led me that far so I had to be obedient and keep walking the path God placed before me, I asked for it and sure enough God was delievering.

To be continued…
